Bella Poarch's birth Filipino parents welcomed Bella in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997. Her grandmother lived in the areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old. She was then adopted. The father of her adoptive family is white American with a military background, while her adoptive mother is Filipino. She alleges that she as well as her adopted brother and their mother were subjected to abuse as children until she entered the military. The family lived with her uncle at San Francisco for several months before returning to Texas on her 13th birthday in the wake of the need for her father to undergo bypass surgery. In the months after joining TikTok she launched an account on YouTube as well as a Twitter account in order to make the most of her fame. Poarch's fame reached its peak at the end of December in 2020. Poarch's rising popularity was reported to have drawn two of the most prestigious professionally-run Esports Teams. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in hiring her as a content creator under the respective brand names.
