Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield, born August 20, 1983, is a native of Los Angeles, California. He is an American actor and producer. Garfield is famous for his roles in films such as The Social Network (2010) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Garfield's career began in the theatre, and he made his first television appearance on the show Sugar Rush in 2006 before launching his film debut Mumbo Jumbo in 2007. In 2010, he achieved recognition for his performance in The Social Network. He then portrayed Spider-Man, the much-loved character in the new film version directed by Marc Webb. He is the son of American Richard Garfield and British Lynn Hillman and has an older brother who is named Ben. His family relocated from American continent to the UK when he turned three. He was educated and raised in Surrey. From an early age the actor began taking classes, and was a part of various school productions. In London, he took his first stage steps at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
