Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen a unanimous defeat and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd took her fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last match for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd was victorious at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. After a break of a few seconds her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
