Her name gained international attention and admiration when she gave the world one of its greatest events in the history of sport when she scored the first ever perfect 10 on bars that were symmetrical in the Montreal Olympic Games in 1976. Additionally, she scored six more 10s perfect and made her 14 years of old, the youngest Olympic medalist in all categories. In addition to helping Nadia Comaneci attract attention from everywhere, but she also helped Romania find itself a place on the global map.
